In the spring class in Cedar we have been learning lots about
skeletons. We can name most of the bones in the human body and know
lots of fascinating facts about the body.
We also researched animal skeletons, looking closely at the spine,
ribcage and skull.
We are currently leaning about the Romans, who built their empire
over 2000 years ago. The Romans cleaned themselves by covering their
bodies in olive oil, sitting in a hot room to sweat and then
scraping the oil and sweat off with a stick called a strigil.
