LOCATION

Brize Norton is situated in the Cotswolds, fifteen miles to the West of Oxford just South of the A40 between Witney and Burford - follow the signs to RAF Brize Norton!

From the East using the A40 bypassing Witney, take the junction signposted to RAF Brize Norton and join the B4477 towards Carterton and the RAF base.  At the roundabout turn into the village of Brize Norton and continue into the centre of the village.  Brize Norton Primary School is situated on the right hand side of Carterton Road about 120 metres beyond St Britius Church.  The Elderbank Hall is 200 metres along Station Road.

From the West using the A40 from Burford towards Oxford, after leaving Burford take the turning on the right to Brize Norton and continue past Foxbury Farm and cross the new ring road around Brize Norton.  Continue along Burford Road and take a right fork to meet Manor Road in Brize Norton village. Brize Norton Primary School is situated on the right hand side of Carterton Road about 120 metres beyond St Britius Church. The Elderbank Hall is 200 metres along Station Road.

From the South the simplest route is to use the A420 turning off at Buckland, crossing the River Thames at Tadpole Bridge and driving through Bampton.  In Bampton take the road to Brize Norton, a right at the mini roundabout in the centre of Bampton.  Brize Norton (Station Road) is reached after the end of the RAF runway.  The Elderbank Hall (parking) lies on the left opposite the Chequers Public House, and Brize Norton Primary School is 75 metres further along Station Road on the left of the road.

A map of the area can be found here and a map of Brize Norton with the church, school and village hall can be found here.

Please note that there is no parking at the School and it is best to park at the Elderbank Hall where there is ample parking.
